Celebrating Creativity #84 – Mercedes Benz

Mercedes Benz Blurr Guerrilla Campaign It’s been a while since we saw a great street installation like this one by Mercedes Benz in Canada! This very clever and eye-catching guerrilla marketing campaign demonstrates the diversity of experiential platforms.

As a perfect example of going the extra mile to stand out in the cluttered outdoor marketing environment, agency BBDO Toronto have created an incredibly effective outdoor campaign to showcase the latest 2012 C-Class Mercedes Benz Coupe.

Quite simply, they parked the new car in front of a blurred wall, surrounded by innovative street props to create an illusion of speed. A billboard, with the campaign logo ‘Looks fast. Even in park’ reiterates the creative message. An experiential demonstration with a twist, this concept is brilliantly striking and simplistic.
