Celebrating Creativity #42 – Pictionary

Pictionary Photo Booth Experiential Agency Ogilvy in Colombia came up with an interactive campaign for the famous Mattel board game Pictionary which is a great example of engagement and user experience.

They have installed a photo booth at a Colombian shopping centre inviting people to take pictures for free. However, instead of having a camera, a hidden cartoonist was inside the booth to draw a cartoon of the participants in less than 10 seconds.

The idea was to show how easy playing with Pictionary can be. The fact that participants were presented with hand sketched portrait makes the idea clever yet fun.

It seems that everyone love becoming a cartoon and it really got people engaged into the experience. A nice model of fun and engaging experiential campaign well designed for participation and sharing.
