Another example of great experiential marketing! This little beauty comes from the Netherlands where Grolsch set up their “Cool Hotline”. Championing the cause of the cold beer, they created this unique service to ensure that people could enjoy their beers cold whenever they wanted.
Whenever people called the special “Cool Hotline” number, a scooter with a built-in fridge sidecar would turn up and exchange any warm beers they had for a fresh cold one straight out of the fridge!
This is a great concept for a sampling activity as it makes sure the consumer has to actively engage with the brand in order to receive the sample. Grolsch gave people people an engaging, remarkable service for free, that added real value to their day! Sounds like guaranteed talkability to us!
