Here’s a cool example of an ambient marketing campaign from toy company Mattel in Brazil.
To promote their Hot Wheels car toys, the brand set up a giant replica of a Hot Wheels product package and placed it in the car park of a Shopping Centre in Sao Paulo. Drivers could park their car into the faux packaging, transforming their vehicle into an iconic Hot Wheels car.
Visitors could also have their pictures taken next to the car and share it on social networks.
A simple and eye-catching experiential campaign that is hard to ignore!
