We love coming across innovative experiential campaigns that entices people’s curiosity to stop and engage with the message.
To promote its new drama ‘Perception’, starring Eric McCormack, a neuro-scientist who assists FBI in solving anagrams, TNT has placed an interactive billboard in New York made of thousands of individual electromagnetic flip-dots.
In line with the show, the interactive display was programed to emulate the ability of the show’s protagonist to pull anagrams out of the bodies of text. As people walk past the billboard, they see a reflection of their silhouette and hear the sound of their movement, which knocks away the random words and images on screen, revealing the anagram.
The eye-catching experiential execution of this campaign was beautifully effective, embracing the concept of the TV show in an entirely unique way.
