In celebration of Australia’s Independence Day last week (26th January), McDonald’s got down with the people and temporarily changed its name at a select number of it’s restaurants to Macca’s.
With more than 55% of the Australian population, affectionately referring to the chain as such – this little stunt by McDonald’s is a simple and effective way of them showing their customers that they are on board with the lingo.
