Many brands have been experimenting with the concept of making billboards more interactive. Here’s another smart idea for an outdoor campaign which gives consumers a good reason to stop and engage with the medium, rather than just walk on past.
To promote their new Intense Hydration line, natural products company Burt’s Bees set up a billboard on a busy street in Minneapolis made up of thousands of coupons. As passers-by peeled off the coupons, the image of a model with dry, flaky skin changed, revealing smooth skin underneath.
