Bundaberg Rum Experiential Campaign One of our followers has tweeted us a really cool example of how experiential marketing can be used to break through the clutter of sport sponsorship events.

Iconic Australian brand Bundaberg Rum needed to find an effective way to leverage their football sponsorship. As principle sponsors of Friday Night Football, the brand created the Bundy Skycouch and offered Aussies the chance to take seven of their mates to watch the Rugby League in the most amazing seats.

On the first day of the season, an eight seater couch was suspended over the edge of the stadium by a 200 tonne crane, 140 feet above the ground. Supported by ABL advertising and social media, Bundaberg had a sales uplift of 14% and 15% increase in fans on Facebook during the campaign.
