A while ago we discussed some great experiential fundraising tactics that charities can adopt to grab the whole-hearted attention of passers-by, and generate mass buzz around their campaigns.
The children’s charity Misereor came up with a great idea for turning charity donations into an experience. The charity has designed an interactive billboard that works as a donation box.
When passers-by contributed a 2 euro coin, various Misereor aid projects visually came to life.
At the end of the storytelling journey, a built-in camera took a picture of the donor that they could then share on Facebook.
A very clever online and offline integration, which creates a positive experience and helps to spread the message across.
