Pinterest is growing at an incredibly rate this year! Here is a great example of an influential way to spread a positive message about a brand using the social networking site.
As Pinterest allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections, Kotex identified 50 inspiring women and decided to send them a personalised kit based on their Pinterest Boards. However, in order to receive the kit, the lucky women had to re-pin their gift.
The entire campaign was also shared on other social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, resulting in 2,284 interactions and 694,853 total impressions.
It is great to see such clever examples of brands integrating experiential marketing with fast growing social networks to engage consumers into a new digital game. What do you think?
