Fox’s Biscuits is one of the UK’s leading biscuit brands. Fox’s offers twenty ranges of great tasting biscuit products across all subcategories of the biscuit market, including Everyday Treats, Grown Up Indulgence and Kids.
Hotcow were tasked with creating a shopper marketing sampling campaign for Rocky Bar at leading supermarkets across the country to remind them of the great taste.
Multiple biscuit bar brands are on special at the same time in the retailers, it was critical to create stand out with shoppers before they entered the store.
What we did
Hotcow created a wide spread shopper sampling campaign structured over the course of 6 weekends. Hotcow Brand Ambassadors visited the key retailers Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Asda in the South East and North West regions,sampling Rocky bars.
Our front of store sampling team aimed to prove to consumers that Rocky is a delicious, high quality biscuit bar for all the family by driving consumers to trial on the spot and handing out 50p money off coupons to encourage sales.
So, what happened:
- 376,000 people were exposed to the brand
- 282,000 samples were distributed
- +35% increase in propensity to purchase post activity
