This week, the Hotcow team travelled to Ascot with some of our favourite clients, to be part of the Ascot races.
The sunshine held out (for most of the day anyway) giving those who had made the effort the opportunity to shine!
Luckily Hotcow had the star of the show with us the entire day – thank you Camila!
Whilst we added to the glamour of the occasion, we didn’t quite have the luck picking the winners.
After an encouraging start, the races later in the day were not so fruitful. Best stick to the day jobs!
But the Ascot experience was more than just a chance to bet on horses.
Across the Ascot site, plenty of revellers made sure that the day was filled with plenty of goodwill cheer and plenty of noise. This is what Ascot is all about – It isn’t about how much money you win or lose, it is about the feelings you get just being there with others who have all made the trip, the effort and the occasion.
And we are pretty sure that the queen gave us a little wave as her morning procession passed through.
The day was a brilliant day out for all, filled with good food, good company and that all important lesson – Pick the horses before you have too many drinks!
