It is set to be the warmest day of the year today and as the clocks go forward this weekend we are officially saying hello to Spring. Pimm’s have decided to mark this day building a giant deckchair on Bournemouth Beach, which we love!
The drink brand wanted to celebrate the start of British Summer Time by wowing beachlovers with a massive red and white deckchair, which is believed to be the world’s largest deckchair measuring 8.5 metres tall and 5.5 metres wide and weighing 6 tonnes. As this summer is set to be one of the busiest and memorable in the UK in recent years, Pimm’s addition to Bournemouth Beach created a real buzz and excitement not only locally but nationally.
