Experiential marketing is all about giving people a meaningful brand experience that will trigger positive word-of-mouth around your brand.
To celebrate January’s ‘Havaianas Australia Day Thong Challenge’, the Brazilian flip-flop brand distributed thousands of inflatable Havaianas to beach-lovers celebrating the day in Western Australia.
The challenge was a great success, breaking a world record, with 2088 people simultaneously floating in the sea on the giant flip-flops.
The result? A fun and engaging experiential event, which took a total of 5,226 into the water and helped to raise $52,260 for the Surf Life Saving Club’s nippers program.
