Celebrating Creativity #95 – Nokia

Noisettes Saturday Night Shot by Fans We love this partnership between Nokia and the Noisettes! When creating the music video for their latest track ‘Saturday Night’, over 100 fans were selected to be the both cast and crew and shoot the film themselves on a range of Nokia phones, bringing a touch of experiential into the mix!

This amazing campaign takes consumer empowerment to the next level, creatively engaging fans as actual producers of content. Furthermore, watching the final product feels even more realistic, in the knowledge that fans played an instrumental role in the filming. And it seems that the band’s drummer couldn’t agree more, commenting “what better people to hold the camera than our fans”!

Adding an additional level of consumer engagement, the breadth of interaction with fans was further increased once the final film had been edited. The entire 140 hours of footage was uploaded onto a dedicated website, challenging fans to create their own versions of the film from the comfort of their own home. This campaign allows fantastic 3-way communication between Nokia, the Noisettes and fans in a brand new, innovative way.
