Wow, we love this! This is a fantastic idea which uses the power of tweets with an extremely well done performance that has put a big smile on our faces today!
To help warm up the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra Chorus for this winter season, Tourism Calgary reached out to its followers by asking them to tweet their tips on how to stay warm in Calgary, using the hashtag #cpowarmup.
Chorus Master Timothy Shantz arranged the 20 best tweets into the classic song ‘O Fortuna’, acutely performed by the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus. The result is a dramatic choral featuring some helpful keep warm tweets. Our favourite ones are ‘Make some really good mulled wine’, ‘Bake warm bread and cook some hot soup or spicy cinamon buns’, ‘Splash some Baileys or Kahlua in your mug of hot cocoa’ and ‘Try hot yoga! Or a nose hat! Or black silk long underwear’.
