Adidas are no stranger to creative marketing campaigns. They are a brand quite synonymous with cool anyway but they haven’t achieved this by sitting on their behinds and watching the world go by.

In fact sitting on one’s behind in the case study we are about to share with you, definitely would not have got one anywhere.

To launch their new Adidas Rose 3.5 shoe they roped in NBA basketball star Derrick Rose in a secret pop-up store in Hackney, East London, and challenged the public to show off their best jumps –  to be in with a chance of winning a signed pair of fresh kicks.

The slick video produced alongside it has already notched up nearly 350,000 views.

Adidas we salute and celebrate you. Share your thoughts….
