A Belgic organisation called Responsible Young Drivers and the Advertising agency, Publicis Brussels, have launched a campaign to promote reduced drink driving.

During the anniversary weekend of Belgium’s most famous club ‘Carré’s’ they placed a barrier outside their car park that could recognise if a person was drunk or not.

When party-goers who were driving, left the club to get into their cars, the barrier would only open if they blew into a breathalyser and  passed the test.

The campaign was really successful and the concept will be extended to other places and parties in Belgium.
