New technologies are making it easier for brands to integrate social media into a live brand experience. Here is a nice example of a Twitter powered billboard from India, created to launch a new clothing collection from Allen Solly.
The brand attached 52 shirts to the billboard and asked people to choose a hashtag and send a tweet for a chance to win one of the shirts. Each shirt was fit out with a solenoid, which when triggered by the tweets, punched the shirts out of the billboard.
A smart way of driving social media buzz whilst rewarding the Tweeps with a sample to take away.
