At the Australian premiere for Sacha Baron Cohen’s new film ‘Bruno’, the red carpet was hijacked about half an hour before the mockumentary filmmaker's arrival with a publicity stunt for a fast food chain known for their spicy chicken. A Bruno impersonator, accompanied by six models, fooled security by arriving in a pink Hummer and then proceeded to pour tomato sauce all over themselves before they were physically removed.
It was all cleaned up by the time the star arrived, announcing: "Vassup, Sydney?". This followed Bruno's recent publicity stunt at the MTV Movie awards, where he was lowered onto rapper Eminem's face – bottom first.
